It's September, and it's time to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD).

SSFUSD Superintendent Dr. Shawnterra Moore and School Board President John Baker took part in a September 2 panel discussion organized by the South San Francisco Youth Commission and the City of South San Francisco, where Baker employed the metaphor of boba tea to encourage SSFUSD students to advocate for themselves.

Parents with students in transitional kindergarten (TK) through fifth grade at South San Francisco Unified School District (SSFUSD) now have the option to bring their children back to campus for in-person instruction and academic support from April 19 through May 28.
